THE MARK OF GOD

God said to set a mark upon the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry for all the abominations done in the midst of them.

A lot of us, have heard, of the mark of Satan 666.

Revelations 13:15-18 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

Revelations 14:9-12 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

But how many know about THE MARK OF GOD?

(The vision God gave to Ezekiel concerning Jerusalem's sins).

Ezekiel 9:1-7,11 Then He called out in my hearing with a loud voice, saying, “Let those who have charge over the city draw near, each with a deadly weapon in his hand.” And suddenly six men (angels) came from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with his battle ax in his hand. One man among them was clothed with linen and had a writer’s inkhorn at his side. They went in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple, and He called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn at his side; and the Lord said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and (put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”)

To the others, He said in my hearing, “Go after him through the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity. Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and (begin at My sanctuary.)” So, they began with the elders who were before the temple. Then He said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” And they went out and killed in the city. v.11 Just then, the man clothed with linen, who had the inkhorn at his side, reported back and said, “I have done as You commanded me.”

But why were they killed? And why were the children included?

Ezekiel 8:7-11 So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door. And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” So, I went in and saw, and there, every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls. And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.

These were just some of the things they were worshiping: Read chapters 8-11 (Where God took His Glory from the Temple).

Deuteronomy 32:16-17 They provoked Him to jealousy with foreign gods; with abominations, they provoked Him to anger. They sacrificed to (demons), not to God, to gods they did not know, to new gods, new arrivals, that your fathers did not fear.

Think of what is happening in the world right now. Adults influence children's minds, with all sorts of sinful thoughts. The world is teaching the children to be immoral. In Jerusalem the children were influenced by the adults, so the children were not given the Mark of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The BIBLE is the number one bestseller in the world. But we have not learned from the past and the wisdom of God. We are behaving like children without instructions and receiving our due reward.

Romans 1:21-32 Because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools and changed the Glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and (worshiped and served the creature) rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For, even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

Just as the judgment of God started at the sanctuary, the judgment of God will begin with the church.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins; with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
