MAN DOES NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE

Teach Holy Spirit in Jesus Name. Amen.

Luke 10:21-22 NIV At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise You, Father, Lord of Heaven and Earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children (these are the disciples and people like you and me, that believe in Jesus Christ). Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. All things have been committed to Me by My Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.

(Let's pray): Heavenly Father, we come to You with a humble heart, spirit and soul, asking You to please forgive us for our sins, and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Your Son, Jesus Christ, said; “That no one knows You, except Him, and no one knows Him, except You, and those to whom He chooses to reveal You to.” So we come to You, Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, asking You, Father, “To allow Jesus, to reveal who You are to us.” Jesus also prayed; “And eternal life is this: To know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” Please Father we ask You in Jesus Name, “Reveal Yourself and Your Son to us TODAY! Because we truly want to know, You and Christ Jesus. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen. Thank You in Jesus Name.

Matthew 4:1-4 JB Then Jesus was led by the Spirit out into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. He fasted for 40 days and 40 nights after which He was very hungry, and the temper came and said to Him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to turn into loaves”. But He replied, “Scripture says: Man does not live on bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God”.

* Are we in search of the wrong things? Bread is something to satisfy the flesh. God's word is saying, “We should be seeking to satisfy our spirit”. Jesus words came from the experience of the Israelite's, while they were in the wilderness for 40 years.

Deuteronomy 8:2-3 NKJV And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these 40 years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. So, He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by (every word) that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

* When God humbles you, He humbles you, so you can learn how to depend on Him, and not on yourself, jobs, friends and other relationships. He wants you to depend on Him and His word, that He will never leave you nor forsake you. God truly wants us to humble ourselves before Him, and He will lift us up.

* When we are tested, they're on things that we have gone through before, and did not do it correctly. His test is on things that He has shown us the correct answer to, and we keep failing every time the test comes around. We are like the Israelites; it should have taken them 11 days. but it took them 40 years. Deuteronomy 1:2

It's like school; the teacher would not test you on something, unless she taught it to you first.

* He keeps you in the wilderness to know what is in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. But the truth is, God knows what is in your heart. He needs you to know what is in your heart. Matthew 15:19 Jesus said: For from the heart comes evil intentions: murder, adultery, fornication, theft, perjury, and slander.

* He kept you in the wilderness so that He might make you know. That man does not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

It is the word of God that can save your soul.

* Are you living for a better job, more money or a fancy car, just to name a few. You are focus on the wrong path in life. These are nice things to have, but all these things, will not save you when Jesus Christ return. 1 Peter 1:25 states: But the word of the LORD endures forever. And this is the word that was preached to you.

James 1:21-22 NKJV Therefore (lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness), and receive with meekness (the implanted word), (which is able to save your souls). (But be doers of the word, and not hears only, deceiving yourselves).

* We are in the last days, and you do not know when this will occur, famine and drought of the word of God. You need to start studying the word of God and applying it to your life, today.

Amos 8:11-12 NKJV “Behold, the days are coming”, says the LORD God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and Fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it.

* Don’t wait until it is to late! This is an Urgent Message!

Matthew 5:6 NKJV Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

* Satan is the only one, who has already been judged and condemned.

The Bible makes it perfectly clear, that the devil, is the god of this world. He is the one who influences the ideals and actions of most people. He is the prince of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. Satan is going to Hell, and he wants to take as many people with him as possible. DON’T GO!! John 16:11, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 and Ephesians 2:2

* I was going to leave these scriptures for you to look up and read along, but I changed my mind. Let's read them together.

John 16:11 NIV And about Judgment, because the Prince of this world, now stands condemned.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 JB If our gospel does not penetrate the veil, then the veil is on those who are not on the way to salvation; the unbelievers whom minds the god of this world has blinded, to stop them seeing the light shed by the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Ephesians 2-2 NKJV In which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.

* Please remember: That man shall not live by bread alone; But man lives by (EVERY WORD) that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

* Even Jesus said at John 12:49 NKJV For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the (Father) (who sent Me), gave Me a command, (what I should say), and (what I should speak).

* Study to show yourself approved. Jesus never said: "He was God". He has always called Himself the Son of God.

John 3:16 KJV states, For God so loved the world, that He gave (His only Begotten Son), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Numbers 23:19 KJV God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent; hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

* WE ARE STILL UNDER THE WORD OF GOD ALMIGHTY, SPOKEN TO US BY CHRIST JESUS HIS SON.

Hebrews 1:1-2 NIV In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways. But in these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom also He made the universe.

* Praise the Lord, we have the answer to our prayer, that was prayed at the beginning of the lesson. The word of God states: John 14:23 NIV Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves Me, will (obey My teaching). My Father will love them, and (we will come to them, and make our home with them).

BELIEVE!

Tomorrow is not promise to you, take action today!!!

Say this prayer with me: ‘I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was in Heaven, and that He came down to Earth, and He died on the cross for my sins. He was buried and in three days, He rose. And now He sits at the right hand of God. I invite the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart, to start making changes today. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
